I am seeking election to the District Court as the fourth District Court judge in Flathead County and I need your help. After serving the past eleven years as your Justice of the Peace I am vacating that position so that I can continue to serve the citizens of Flathead County in the District Court. I am not able to retain my current position and run for the District Court so this is an important election for me. It is equally important for the citizens of our County. The courts, and the judges who serve the people, have become increasingly important. These are difficult times for our County, our State, and our Country. More than ever the people look to the judicial branch of government to stand between them and their government. People increasingly look to the courts for solutions to every day problems. To ensure equal justice for all, I support providing meaningful access to our courts for citizens from all walks of life.Eleven years ago I committed my career to public service as a judge. I am as committed now to serve you as I was then. I am ready to accept the challenge and responsibility of the position of District Court Judge. David
